v0.2! We communicate death better, you can see the next tetromino you'll get, and added a celeste dash!
In an attempt at making the game a bit more complete, we've made it so that the next tetromino is communicated correctly (we never got around to this in the game jam :( ). A common complaint at the jam was that it was pretty unclear when the player had died, as we never really managed to communicate it save for the health coming down. Now, there's a death animation and a respawn timer, to make it a bit clearer.
Another issue generally in the jam was the ease in which a tetris player could box in or crush the platform player. We've added a celeste dash in the hopes that this makes it a bit easier.
If we bother to update this game any more, we'll look at giving the platforming player more tools to reach their goal. Potentially adding the ability to pick up and throw the blocks, or destroy a group of blocks perhaps? To avoid the situation where they can get locked in
Existing egregious bugs:
* Platforming player gets stuck really easily
* The tetris player doesn't automatically lose when their blocks hit the top. This breaks the game!
